Join our team!
We are recruiting motivated graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and research specialists.
What we offer:
° An inclusive and supportive lab culture devoted to promoting professional growth and helping achieve long-term career goals.
° Direct access to state-of-the-art mass spectrometry tools (lab core expertise).
° Excellent research infrastructure and a collaborative environment, providing expertise and support in a variety of approaches, including next-generation sequencing, microscopy, gene editing, cell sorting, bioinformatics, and more.
° An opportunity to develop and lead exciting projects that align with the lab research interests, such as.:
- Developing quantitative proteomics approaches for subnuclear and single-cell histone modification and protein profiling
- Elucidating how epigenetic landscapes are maintained and regulated in postmitotic cells
- Exploring the role of non-canonical histone variants in chromatin regulation
- Dissecting lifelong changes in chromatin organization in mouse somatic tissues.
What we look for:
° Strong interest in chromatin biology and/or aging research and/or proteomics.
° Creativity, passion for science, strong analytical skills, and the ability to critically and efficiently approach complex and challenging research tasks.
° Excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to teamwork and collective problem-solving, and a determination to take on leadership roles in projects.
° The ideal postdoctoral candidate would have strong expertise in at least one of the following areas:
- Chromatin biochemistry
- Genomics approaches, including ChIP-seq, CUT&RUN, RNA-seq
- Mass spectrometry-based proteomics
- Bioinformatic analysis of high-throughput datasets, including genome-wide binding profiling (ChIP-seq, CUT&RUN), transcriptomic, and proteomics data
- Gene editing, mouse genetics.
